Digby Ayton, Convenor
Digby has a deep love of the Franklin electorate, its people and environment. He has worked as a designer, builder's labourer, photographer, fundraiser, musician, business manager and political campaigner.
Rayne Allinson, Committee
Dr Rayne Allinson is a writer, teacher and historian with a Doctorate of Philosohy from the University of Oxford. In 2025, she stood as one of six independent support candidates alongside Peter George, now state Independent Member for Franklin. She is passionate about the community independent movement and has a special interest in education policy.
Maddie McShane, Committee
Maddie is a campaigner with a background in law, environmental policy and grassroots organising. She recently led an independent federal election campaign and is focused on creating positive change for people and planet.
Luca Vanzino, Public Officer
Luca is a consulting mineral exploration geologist having worked on 5 continents over a 40+ year period. In addition, he has performed field leadership roles with the Australian Antarctic Program as well as being on the register of an international aid organisation as a logistician. When in Australia Luca volunteers his time in local community associations.
Steve Kellett, Committee
Steven worked as a surveyor at Hobart City Council for 20 years. He then owned and operated an e-commerce small business for several years gaining extensive knowledge in website design and usability, internet and social media marketing. He now works in the community services sector.
Miah Aplin, Committee
Miah recently graduated from UTAS with a Bachelor of Music. She has been involved in many protests and fundraising performances over the years, with a favourite being the School Strike 4 Climate in 2019. Miah has always cared deeply about social and environmental issues, and has recently become more active in the lawmaking process by volunteering for Peter George and becoming a committee member of Voices of Franklin.
